Our mission

Travel intelligence
for every body.

AirEndex exists because the information travelers with disabilities, chronic illness, and plus size bodies need has always existed. It just was never in one place, never verified, and never written for us.

The problem

Hours of research for a question that should take thirty seconds.

You have a flight coming up. You need to know whether the seatbelt extender will fit, whether the aisle armrest lifts, whether the lavatory door is wide enough, whether you need to book a second seat and what happens if you do.

So you search. You find Reddit threads from 2019, blog posts with no dates, airline policy pages buried under layers of legal disclaimers. Two hours later you have seven tabs open and you are not sure which information is current.

That is the problem AirEndex was built to solve.

The solution

One database. Every answer. Verified.

AirEndex is the first accessibility air travel database built specifically for travelers who need more than a standard seat review. Customer of size policies with actual booking instructions. Seat dimensions by aircraft type, not just by airline. Gate Guide airport profiles with real walking distances and accessibility service locations.

Every entry is researched, verified with a date stamp, and written for travelers who have been burned by bad information before. Every entry is researched, verified with a date stamp, and written for travelers who have been burned by bad information before.

Built for plus size travelers, disabled travelers, travelers with chronic illness, and anyone who has ever needed a real answer before booking a flight.

What AirEndex stands for

The principles behind every entry in the database

01
Real information only
Every policy, measurement, and tip is sourced and verified. If we cannot confirm it, we do not publish it. Dates on everything so you always know how current the data is.
02
Written for the traveler, not the airline
Airline policy pages are written by legal teams. AirEndex entries are written for real people making real decisions. We say the things the official pages will not.
03
Every body belongs in the air
Plus size, disabled, chronic illness, mobility-limited, sensory-sensitive. This database is built for every traveler the aviation industry has historically treated as an afterthought.

The founder

Built by someone who needed it first.

"I did not set out to build a database. I set out to find information I could not find anywhere else. Eventually I realized the only way to have what I needed was to build it myself."

Courtney Donovan is the founder of AirEndex and the creator behind Queens & Carryons Club, a travel community built around honest, practical travel content for travelers who have been underserved by the mainstream travel industry.

AirEndex started as a personal research project. The same questions kept coming up in the Queens & Carryons community. What is the actual customer of size policy at this airline? Which seats have movable armrests? Is the accessible lavatory near the front or the back? Is the seatbelt extender request humiliating or straightforward at this carrier?

The answers existed but they were scattered, inconsistent, and almost always written for a traveler who did not share our experience. AirEndex is the resource that should have existed years ago. It is being built now because the community that needs it is ready for it, and because the travel industry has had long enough to get it right on its own.

Queens & Carryons Club content lives at @queensandcarryons. AirEndex is a separate product and a separate mission, built to outlast any single platform and serve any traveler who needs real answers before they fly.
